The readers’ opinion
Not only did the guidebook get good reviews in the media, the readers/users love it as well. An often heard remark is that you can not only use the guidebook on your travels through England, but can also read it as a biography of Jane Austen. ‘This is so much more than a guidebook, I would definitely recommend it’, one customer of Bol.com (the Dutch Amazon) writes. On Goodreads one reader went as far as to call it ‘a small masterpiece.’

The good reviews are mirrored by the sales figures of Het Engeland van Jane Austen. In the summer of 2016 the second edition was published.
